Talk about a cool gadget! You know me and my tastes for new or unusual items. Well, this Security Key is the first one I've seen.

The Kanguru Wizard is a USB security key, which allows you to create multiple encrypted virtual drives on existing systems that have the drive space. It does not actually partition existing drives.

I have been looking into getting a USB thumb drive recently so I can carry some data around with me. But of course, it can't be too small with MS Service Packs the size that they are. But sometimes it would be nice to be able to move around A LOT of data. An external, portable hard disk drive is such a way. This review from Legion Hardware fits that bill. Fast, clean, and easy to setup and plug in is what Im always looking for.

Hitachi's newest 400gb hard drive puts them at the top in storage capacity. Here is a quick snip.

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 10, 2004 — Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (Hitachi GST) today announced the world's highest capacity 3.5-inch ATA hard drive, the 400GB Deskstar 7K400. The new drive has been designed for audio video (AV) and ATA nearline environments, where large capacities and a lower per-gigabyte cost are key requirements.
