We all know Zalman for producing high-end PC enclosures and heatsinks, but they have quietly been expanding their product line to include other products like fans, fan controllers, and self-contained watercooling systems. One new product Zalman added late in 2010 was the ZM-MH200 dual hard drive docking station. This docking station supports 3.5" and 2.5" SATA drives as well as other storage components like micro SD cards, regular SD cards, and USB 2.0 devices.

The unique capabilities of the ZM-MH200 resides in its flexibility to be compatible with multiple types of storage devices. There are two 3.5" SATA hard drive bays that can also support 2.5" laptop drives and solid state drives. The top panel also includes two USB 2.0 ports, one micro SD port, and one standard SD port.

The unit can be connected via USB 2.0 or eSATA via the included options on the back panel of the device. The unit is also powered by an external A/C adapter, which could turn off some users who want a solution that pulls its power from the USB or eSATA cables. Overall, the size and dimensions of this devices makes it a perfect solution to put on a user's desktop when they need to pull information off old hard drives or SD cards. It will be interesting to see how well our data transfer rates far between different types of storage devices.
