Retail packaging

Zalman took a common-sense approach to the retail packaging for the ZM-MH200. They included a decent studio photo of the unit with both 3.5" and 2.5" HDDs to show off the flexibility of this docking station. They also touted some of the other features this device has to offer under the title on the front panel of the box.

The back panel gives users a little more information about the ZM-MH200 to help consumers who speak different languages make their purchasing decisions.

The interior shipping material included mostly cardboard to encase the device as it was shipped to my home. I was impressed with the quality of the exterior retail packaging because it was simple, elegant, and didn't try to pack too many minute features into each panel of the box.

Here's a quick shot of the interior packaging and the soft wrap Zalman used to ship the ZM-MH200. I also like how the styrofoam encases the entire unit and ensures it arrived on my doorstep safe and sound.

Included accessories

There were a couple nifty accessories included with this bracket to add an eSATA port through an empty PCI slot on the back of a user's PC. They also included a long eSATA cable to connect the docking station to the back of the motherboard or on an available eSATA port on the front panel.

They also added a USB cable and here's a power cord for the external power supply.

Lastly, here's the rest of the external power supply.
