Doom 3 - HQ and 0xAA

Doom 3 (OpenGL)

Our Doom 3 test is a manual run through of almost two full minutes of game play.  I have played this section now over 50 times or so, and the runs are very consistent and repeatable.  Each test is run three times on each setting on each card and averaged to get the results you are seeing here.

Here we see the X600XT get pummeled already by the 6600GT card at the lowest resolution and quality on Doom 3 that we are going to test at.  Both NVIDIA cards stick right at 60 FPS (where id has placed the framerate lock) while the ATI card is flailing as low as 15 FPS.

Again the NVIDIA cards are simply overpowering the competing ATI X600XT card by an amazing performance advantage.

The NVIDIA cards finally show signs of a struggle here, but the 6600GT card is still pretty playable at this resolution and setting pulling in average framerate of 44 FPS and a minimum of 20 FPS.  The X600XT has an embarrasing low of 8 FPS and average of 14.6 FPS.
