In addition to the heatsink, the package also contains the Fan Mate 2, a full assortment of mounting hardware, a tube of thermal compound, and a printed User's Manual.

The CNPS7700-Cu heatsink fan incorporates 65 thin copper plates, which are folded into the familiar Zalman flower design.

The copper plates are clamped together between two aluminum blocks to form the base.  This design provides excellent heat conduction from the base thru the fins.

The base has nice machined finish and appears to be flat and smooth.

A spring steel clip passes thru the base assembly and allows the various pieces of mounting hardware to securely attach the CNSP7700-CU to their respective socket styles.  As mentioned earlier, the CNSP7700-Cu can be mounted to both Intel P4 and AMD K8 processors.

Intel P4 (socket LGA775)

Intel P4 (socket 478)

AMD Athlon64/FX and Opteron (socket 754/939/940)

The included fan speed controller is a Zalman Fan Mate 2.  It comes with its own cable and can be installed in between the fan and motherboard fan header for obtaining the optimal balance between cooling performance and noise.
