Recently I spoke with Gabe from Swiftech regarding the MCW462-UH. Approximately Two hours later I received an email from U.P.S containing a tracking number for the MCW462-UH water-block which was already in transit to my house .Several days later I received a small plain brown box that contained a smaller well packed box in amongst all the Styrofoam peanuts. The MCW462-UH had arrived safely and quite expedite.

In case you have been living on another planet or were abducted by aliens in the past few years and are unaware of whom Swiftech is, here is some information regarding the company. Swiftech is now located in Signal Hill California after originally opening their doors in 1994 in a different smaller facility. Well known for their air-cooled solutions such as the Mcx370 and its big brother the Mcx462, Swiftech currently operates in a 6000 sq ft manufacturing facility that employs 15 people. Using state of the art CNC equipment combined with high thermally conductive materials such as c110 copper, 6063 and1100 Aluminium they are able to produce their components/products within a .001” of accuracy that are able to handle intense thermal loads. With the introduction of the AMD k7 and Intel p4 processors ,Swiftech soon realized that alternatives to air-cooling solutions were needed and began focusing on what we all know as water-cooling . Today we will be looking at the Swiftech MCW462-UH water- block which is machined, assembled and designed solely by Swiftech.
