Swiftech's Apogee SKF Heirloom Series water block design is evolutionary compared to their previous blocks with the display enhancements and the redesign of their micro-channel base plate. As far as configurability and aesthetics, nothing on the market approaches what Swiftech did with the Heirloom Series block (or what they are continuing to do with their SKF or SKF Prestige blocks for that matter). The block was customizable from the factory with a unique style to fit you customized system build to a T. Further, the unique illumination properties and configurable nature designed into the view port along with the included IRIS ECO controller looks stellar when keyed in to your build's lighting. The build quality of the block was top notch with my only minor complaint being the lack of nickel plating on the base plate. Based on our testing, any of the Apogee SKF series blocks should give you stellar performance no matter if you go with the SKF, SKF Prestige, or SKF Heirloom Series block. The one thing to be careful of is with the block disassembly. Should you need to clean the inside of the base plate and its micro-channels, be very careful not to disturb the view port. However, even if run into issues after reassembly, Swiftech will work with you. I had no problem securing a replacement block from them after contacting Swiftech support when our block leaked.

Where's the test on restriction?

I don't have the exact numbers for you, but I do know I had read that the SKF is one of the more restrictive blocks, especially as pressure increases. I have the SKF-LT myself.
