The backside panel features an open grill and includes a power receptacle and master On-Off switch.  The honey comb grill allows air to exhaust out of the power supply for cooling the internal components with minimal turbulence and noise.

The S12G-750 uses a very capable 120mm ADDA fan (AD1212HB-A70GL) that incorporates dual ball bearings and is rated for up to 2,200 rpm and 0.37A at 12 VDC. Seasonic frequently uses the more expensive Sanyo Denki SanAce fan on their premium power supplies. By going with the ADDA fan and eliminating the fanless operation mode (S3FC), Seasonic is able to trim the cost a little.

Looking inside the Seasonic S12G-750 PSU, you will see a clean layout utilizing high quality components. The primary stage capacitor is manufactured by Nippon Chemi-Con and rated at 470uF, 450V, and 105°C.  The secondary features predominantly solid polymer capacitors with a few Nippon Chemi-Con electrolytic caps thrown in for good measure.  Just like all previous Seasonic power supplies we have seen, the layout and component selection appears to be excellent.

The short length (140 mm) would make this a good PS for a mATX case with SLI or Crossfire.
