Kingwin Mach 1 ABT-1000MA1S Power Supply Review

Author: Lee Garbutt
Manufacturer: Kingwin

Specifications and Packaging

The Kingwin Mach 1 ABT-1000MA1S power supply is rated for a combined, continuous output power of up to 1,000 watts at 50°C operating temperature (internal case air temperature).  That’s important, as some less reputable manufactures limit their power supply’s advertised capacity by specifying a lower operating temperature (25°C) in the fine print.  The PSU includes universal AC line input (automatically adjusts to the AC line voltage) and active PFC, which makes the unit more environmentally friendly to the local power grid.  The Kingwin 1,000W PSU incorporates six +12V outputs that can deliver up to 80A (960W) when combined.

The Kingwin Mach 1 1,000W power supply arrived securely packed inside a colorfully printed retail box highlighting the PSU's features and specifications.  In addition to the power supply the package includes a power cord, mounting screws, eight modular cables in a plastic tray, and a relatively detailed User's Manual.

i think its funny and cool that they use 4 pin C.B. mic plugs for the connectors as those have been tested for years in trucks and cars and have the most durability of any connector plus there cheap to replace and easy to do so if one gets damaged 5 stars for them using this ....also makes it easier to make an extension if needed
