Packaging and Parts
The AORUS P850W power supply arrived packed inside a shrink-wrapped retail box showcasing the unit’s features and specifications.
The power supply is protected by thick foam inserts. All the cables and accessories are inside the black bag with the AORUS logo.
In addition to the power supply, the box contains a power cord, mounting screws, a User Manual, and a bag of modular cables.
(2) 4+4 pin CPU cables, (1) 24-pin ATX cable, and (4) PCI-E cables
(2) SATA cables, (1) 4-pin Molex cable, and (1) FDD adapter
The AORUS P850W power supply comes with a good assortment of all modular cables. (See specs table above for connector count and cable lengths.)
Note the small solid polymer capacitors wired into the ends of the main power cables to help filter out any residual AC ripple and noise. Normally these are sleeved to the cable bundle and in fact Gigabyte informed us this will probably be done during the next production run.
