Lenovo's new ideapad 710S is a thin and light notebook with a 13.3-inch 1920x1080 IPS display, and is powered by 6th gen Intel (Skylake) processors with optional Iris graphics.

  • Up to 256GB PCIe SSD storage
  • Up to 8GB LP-DDR3 memory
  • Up to 8 hours battery life
  • Optional Intel Iris GFX
  • USB 3.0 & Micro HDMI connectors
  • JBL stereo speakers with Dolby Audio Premium
  • Ports: 2 x USB 3.0, one always on-charging, 4-in-1 card reader, Audio

Look at all the UP TOs, on every bullet point, and you will have to have up to a much larger than $799 bank account to afford all but the lowest specifications. Oh the sponcered content with CES going on!

Still wasting a lot of vertical space with that display. I'd rather them get rid of the webcam entirely if it means a larger display

What is the price or estimate of the one displayed? We do not want to know $799 price for a bottom of the barrel specs.

Rather than competing with each other, laptop manufacturers should try to come up with something new and useful to users. I have used XPS laptops and I know how annoying it is to have a webcam at the bottom of the screen! I would rather buy any other laptop than these similar metal craps.
