SUNNYVALE, Calif., January 17, 2005 — The HyperTransport™ Technology
Consortium, a nonprofit industry organization that manages and promotes low-latency
HyperTransport technology, today announced the election of David Rich, Director of Business
Development and Support, Boston Design Center at AMD, as President of the Consortium,
reporting to the Consortium’s Board of Directors. Mr. Rich succeeds Gabriele Sartori, Vice
President of Marketing at Luxtera, Inc., whose term as President of the Consortium ended in
December 2004. The HyperTransport Consortium also elected Brian Holden, Principal Engineer
at the Microprocessor Products Division of PMC-Sierra, Inc. as Vice President of the
Consortium.
