The odd name of the ASUS P6T Deluxe OC Palm Edition comes from the OC Palm that is bundled with the motherboard.  It’s a small LCD screen for showing widgets, and adds about $40 to the price of the motherboard; there is a non-Palm edition for those with no desire for the small screen.  TECHGAGE’s look at the board is very comprehenisive, and gives you an idea just how much ASUS packed into this board.  It may not be the Rampage II Extreme, but it is sure worth a look.

“Need a solid motherboard offering for that brand-new Core i7 processor? ASUS’ first “mainstream” X58 board proves to be a true winner, offering a feature-packed and well-thought-out design, support for both CrossFireX and SLI, plentiful accessories and overclocking potential to keep enough the most hardcore enthusiast pleased.”
