We aren’t quite done with our Computex coverage quite yet – after a weekend of recovery I am still going through my memory cards to find what pictures are most interesting to present.  This time I found a really cool little Gigabyte notebook with a stand up docking station.

The Gigabyte Booktop M1022 is a netbook design with a 10.2-in LED backlit screen and built-in 3.5G wireless support.  It uses the Atom platform, but the real killer feature is the docking design that stands the Booktop up on its side; it reminds me of a Nintendo Wii with its white coloring.

The dock plugs into a proprietary connector on the side of the notebook and supports outputs for VGA output, Gigabit Ethernet, USB ports and of course the power plug.

I’m not sure if this model will be available in the US as the wireless integration could make things a bit more difficult than it should be.  Pricing and availability to be announced soon!
