"ROG GX800 is the world’s first 18-inch real 4K UHD gaming laptop to feature the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 in 2-Way SLI. It gives gamers desktop-like gaming performance, silky-smooth gameplay and detailed 4K UHD gaming environments. The liquid-cooled ROG GX800 features the ROG-exclusive Hydro Overclocking System that allows for extreme overclocking of the processor, graphics card and DRAM. In 3DMark 11 and Fire Strike Ultra benchmark tests, a ROG GX800 equipped with the Hydro Overclocking System scored 76% higher than other gaming laptops in the market.

ROG GX800 comes with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology and has plug-and-play compatibility with leading VR headsets to allow gamers to enjoy truly immersive VR environments. It has the MechTAG (Mechanical Tactile Advanced Gaming) keyboard with mechanical switches and customizable RGB LED backlighting for each key."

According to techspot when its not docked the unit is limited to 330watts, this is because the air cooler cannot handle the heat and the gpus need to be throttled and the gpus hit 82 deg. on air. The total package psu and laptop weighs 8kg and the cooler is 4.7kg which means you wont be moving it often anywhere.

My computer backpack weighed in around 50 pounds, Sager NP957, second laptop, graphic tablet, etc. A single gaming laptop is not heavy. A 330 watt power brick is the biggest standardized brick you can get and after that, its custom fabrication and expensive.

Government hates desktops and if you can't put your computer into your single carry on then its going to get trashed by someone for the lulz. Kids had to spray paint bran-new backpacks because they weren't "tacticool" by command's standard(s). That is the level of lunacy I had to put up with for years.

These laptops are essentially desktop replacements. Its nice being able to play Star Citizen on very high settings @ 1080P (no external GPU needed) and take it with you. Super fancy laptops aren't that expensive if your paycheck is 100% disposable, theft is the bigger problem, room was broken into, bicycle stolen, etc. Shoebox PC may be the best option in hindsight.

I had my glorious desktop again, much luv, so wow.
