Take the hybrid for the win

AMD did get there with their new generation of cards first, it has taken nVIDIA a long time to come out with a dual GPU card like the HD4870 X2.  Now that they have, it seems that the wait was worth it as their hybridized GTX 295 is incredibly powerful.  Tech Spot shows this card beating a pair of 260's in SLI across the board and leaving the 4870 X2 in the dust.  Right now, only $500 of your hard earned money stands between you and the best graphics you can get.

"The Nvidia GeForce GTX 295 dual-GPU graphics card features 1792MB of memory which corresponds to the memory capacity of

two GeForce GTX 260 boards. However, unlike the
Radeon HD 4870 X2 which is literally two Radeon HD 4870 products stuck together, the GeForce GTX 295 seems to be more of a

hybrid, sharing specs of both GeForce GTX 260 and 280 products."
