Before it was released, employees of NVIDIA were claiming that it was difficult to get their drivers through Microsoft's WHQL certification. It is a busy time of year, with the holiday gaming and hardware rush in full swing, so there was likely a backlog until Microsoft could return the signed graphics driver. It also seems like GeForce 375.57 drivers could have used a little more time in NVIDIA's QA department.
At the GeForce Forums, users are complaining about a variety of issues. Ironically, there seems to be a bunch of them claiming that Battlefield 1 is crashing and otherwise being buggy. I haven't installed the game yet, so I cannot contribute my own experiences to it, one way or the other. I have seen some issues myself, though. For instance, I can confirm that tiles in the Windows 10 Start Menu lock up the entire panel if you attempt to move them. NVIDIA acknowledges a handful of issues with Windows 10 on their forums, and they plan a hotfix driver soon (which I'm guessing cannot be applied on PCs running Anniversary Edition clean installs that have secure boot enabled, because of Microsoft's kernel mode driver changes — thankfully, I'm guessing that applies to very few people).
One issue that seems localized to me, though, is StarCraft II. Since I installed the driver (and granted I installed several things that night, like the CUDA SDK) it fails to launch about three-quarters of the time. Could be unrelated, but it should give you an idea about how broad the issues seem to be. Other users are complaining about GIFV corruption, for instance.
Best to roll back and wait for the next WHQL driver (unless hotfix users give glowing praise).
I guess it’s cheaper to use
I guess it’s cheaper to use your consumers as beta testers instead of hiring a QA team.

I’m in the Windows 10 Insider
I’m in the Windows 10 Insider Program. I recently noticed that with each new Insider build, Windows changes the PhysX setting in the NVIDIA Control Panel to use the CPU instead of either the GPU or the recommended Automatic setting:
NVIDIA Control Panel -> “Configure Surround, PhysX” -> PhysX Settings -> Processor
Over various Windows builds and NVIDIA driver versions, I’ve confirmed that clean installs of the NVIDIA graphics drivers for my GeForce GTX 970 aren’t the problem, and that it’s definitely the installation of a new Windows build. So, on the assumption this might happen in the released version of Windows 10, you might check this to make sure you’re actually using that card for PhysX instead of the CPU. That might explain fps swings.
There was also an issue for
There was also an issue for the longest time, where Razer drivers would try to install during the update and fail. Then, when you get into Windows, they would work until you reboot, then you'd need to uninstall and reinstall them.
It didn't happen with Anniversary Update, though, so I assume it's fixed; interesting none-the-less.
Who in the FUCK has gay ass

I’m not on the Insider program and this doesn’t happen in normal Windows releases. It’s always at “auto-select.”

I’m getting Issues with my AMD Drivers (I just got an XFX RX 470 RS 4GB Today), so it seems that Both AMD and NVIDIA Drivers are broken or mostly non-functional at this time.
I’m having no trouble at all
I’m having no trouble at all with my drivers for my RX 480.
Not saying you don’t have legit problems caused by buggy drivers, just saying that assuming AMD is putting out bad drivers as a regular thing is a huge stretch given your data set. The fact is most problems are caused by issues with the computer and not the drivers installed on it. Something working marginally well before could be a problem now simply because your graphics card is actually performing something better than it used to and your wonky rig breaks because it already had issues you weren’t aware of.
Which also goes for saying things like “Nvidia uses their customers as beta testers”. That’s just stupid, and ignores the history of stable drivers from Nvidia. Do they occasionally make mistakes? Yeah, they do, but so does everyone else that makes programs involving billions of bytes.
Back to the Radeon Technologies Group – they are under new leadership and have a new focus on driver and other software support, and I believe that Raja Koduri will lead AMD’s graphics division into a new era of performance and reliability. He and his entire team at RTG have only just begun.
I wasn’t trying to assume
I wasn’t trying to assume anything. I just haven’t gotten mine working at this point. What Driver Version are you on?
No doubt companies will make mistakes with their drivers. Things like that are going to happen. I’m just say that from my perspective, both Drivers seem to have problems at this point, that’s all.
Got XFX RX 480 GTR here
Got XFX RX 480 GTR here drivers are working great 16.10.2.
The only problem I have is with Wattman crashing. Have to restart Crimson GUI to see it running again.
Other then that it’s all good.

Yeah, I rolled back to 373.06 cause screw that XD
Windows 10 has been a
Windows 10 has been a complete failure for Nvidia and drivers. No sli for 6 months , Display port still broken = it rolls back to 30hz in *some* games , multi monitor systems BSOD . The list goes on and on. And now they force you to `register` for drivers!
They do not require
They do not require registration for drivers.
You can always get WHQL and Hotfix drivers at their website. They said they would require GeForce Experience for beta drivers after a certain date about a year ago; however, they have not released a beta since that cut-off, so it never… actually… happened (and probably won't).
You’re a fucking clown. Get

Windows 10 has nothing to do
Windows 10 has nothing to do with when it comes to SLI for games you uneducated idiot. Oh and you don’t need to register to get drivers, I can get them just fine on the nvidia website

“Ha!”, he thought.
“That’s probably some bug that happens once in a blue moon.”, he said to himself as he opened up the Start Menu and moved a Filezilla tile next to the Adobe Premiere one.
“What are the odds of it happening to me as well?”, he smugly asked himself, only to remain shocked when the Start Menu locked up.
And now, he knew. He knew how wrong he was and in his heart of hearts regretted pressing the update button so that GeForce experience would stop annoying him with pop-ups.
All this is making me very
