Some of the RTX 2070 reviews have arrived though you can expect a slew more TU106 based GPU models arriving in the near future.  The MSRP of this card is similar to the GTX 1080, so the burning question is; can it match the performance and not just mimic a slower card with the addition of Tensor Cores?

Start out with Ken's review, and then head off to [H]ard|OCP to check out the RTX 2070 GAMING Z from MSI.  Does it make sense to pick up the RTX 2070 right now, or grab a highly overclocked GTX 1080?  Only one way to find out

Highly anticipated by whom? People wanting to overpay for performance from 2 years ago?

Yeah exactly what I was thinking. This release is a total joke. Wow, all new architecture for the same performance at much higher prices.

Highly anticipated? Isn't this the card that is more expensive than the last gen products without offering any performance increase? Seems like garbage to me.

There has been no mention of the death of Paul Allen on this site. I am very disappointed. He was one of the true pioneers of the PC industry, co-founder of Microsoft. While he has been involved in non-PC interests for some years now, his passing should have been recognized.

I always have loved PC Per, was once a mod here. But PC Per showed no perspective today.

Yea Right let's purchase some DOS and some other developer's source code and get Bill's father and make it all legal like and Then Grab onto IBM's coattails to ride that pony to sucess and eventual Monopoly/Trust status.

Pioneers my A$$ they are no different than John D Rockefeller in Oil or the Railroad Trusts!

Enjoy all you forced updates lately as they break and bork your PC.

Steve Wozniak has more PC Pioneer in his Pinky than Bill, Paul, and that other Steve all rolled together!

Cant see how anyone can recommend any of these cards..
Yeah, good performance but it's still a mid rage card, it should have the mid range price not top line price. Really hope Nvidia's bubble bursts.
