With the release of GTX 960 yesterday NVIDIA also introduced a new version of the GeForce graphics driver, 347.25 – WHQL.
NVIDIA states that the new driver adds "performance optimizations, SLI profiles, expanded Multi-Frame Sampled Anti-Aliasing support, and support for the new GeForce GTX 960".
While support for the newly released GPU goes without saying, the expanded MFAA support will help provide better anti-aliasing performance to many existing games, as “MFAA support is extended to nearly every DX10 and DX11 title”. In the release notes three games are listed that do not benefit from the MFAA support, as “Dead Rising 3, Dragon Age 2, and Max Payne 3 are incompatible with MFAA”.
347.25 also brings additional SLI profiles to add support for five new games, and a DirectX 11 SLI profile for one more:
SLI profiles added
- Black Desert
- Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
- Nosgoth
- Zhu Xian Shi Jie
- The Talos Principle
DirectX 11 SLI profile added
- Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
The update is also the Game Ready Driver for Dying Light, a zombie action/survival game set to debut on January 27.
Much more information is available under the release notes on the driver download page, and be sure to check out Ryan’s chat with Tom Peterson from the live stream for a lot more information about this driver and the new GTX 960 graphics card.

Not for me. 1440p Gsync
Not for me. 1440p Gsync monitor. Deactivating Gsync doesn’t help though. Only way to get it working is disable SLI. Statement of NVIDIA since DSR release: We are working on it… Either they can’t do it or they just don’t want to allocate resources for the ~1%? of buyers with really high end configurations which could highly benefit from MFAA + DSR + GSYNC.
DSR and SLI do work together,
DSR and SLI do work together, as I can personally confirm. However, DSR doesn’t work with Gsync as per Nvidia’s thread on updates ( https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/784180/geforce-drivers/system-configurations-currently-supporting-dsr-as-of-driver-344-65/ ) HTML is a pain to use on mobile.
Why it doesn’t work for you even when not using Gsync…dunno.

I just built a desktop with a 970 motherboard and AMD 3.5 CPU. not only do i have the same problem as everyone else, but there NEW driver Is causing a flicker that goes from annoying to a system crash. Is anyone else having this problem? and what do I do with a new build where their is no previous driver to roll back too? A little help?

Check your components. I mean
Check your components. I mean un plug the gpu and mem cards and plug them back in. Check voltages against hardware. Do a search for your cpu, mem, cpu and mobo and set recomended common settings manually in bios. Some manufacturers these days play it safe and have below spec voltage settings for there mobo releases.
stay away from the 347.25
stay away from the 347.25 driver if you value your performance. im running 980’s in sli and can barely break 14k on 3dmark right now. was pulling over 17k on the 347.09 drivers. same setup, bad drivers.
