Not to poop in anybody's soup here, but this needs to be said.

One of the 3 legends over there hasn't produced anything worth playing in over a decade.

that legend doesn't have to, the other two stand on a foundation he helped build. he is to gaming what black sabbath is to metal...the godfather.

He was referring to John Carmack.

And, to be fair, RAGE was *very* interesting from an engineering standpoint. Flawed, but interesting.

When I think of Carmack I think more about technology then I do of gaming, these days and I think that's where he wants to be as well, but I might be wrong.

OMG OMG OMG OMG. Then again I am the kind of person who would prefer to watch this on a Friday night.

This talk was pretty amazing. It was really nice to get to hear what they have to say about the industry. The best parts were when they were talking and asking each other questions.

While John is a legend in the industry he has tailed off. It's great to see that he's really passionate about something else and going full steam on that. Tim played things fairly close to the vest. Johan and John conversing about the technical side of the issues was pretty great.

Would have paid to watch this. Thanks for the video.

Plus John Carmack is fulltime developing on the Oculus Rift which may change the future of gaming as we know it in a few years.

Check the demo's and peoples reaction that had the privilege to try out. All of them said it was an amazing experience.

A good percentage of people who tried it still feel motion sickness.

Imagine competitive game play in a Con having 100+ people vomiting randomly.
