I have not had a Asus Videocard, but your motherboards are the most reliable and we use only them in systems for our customers.

That certainly looks like an awesome videocard and would be proud to own it.

Been using ASUS components in my custom PC builds for the last 15 years+. Never had a defective component, quality really stands out.

Always had a great love for ASUS graphics card, very good cooling properties and low noise ratio.

May 8, 2015 | 10:03 AM - Posted by bflander8ed

I like that it's a special one, just like me. Also I have an Asus mother board it would go well with. Not color scheme wise, just brand matching.

May 8, 2015 | 10:23 AM - Posted by DTKempII

You know what I like about the ASUS GFORCE GTX 980? It's worlds more capable than this old ATI 5770 I still have in my computer. Only one thing I can think of would be better that having this in my computer: An LG 34UM95 monitor hanging off of it's display port connection!

May 8, 2015 | 10:48 AM - Posted by oledbexception (not verified)

Asus graphics cards are second to none. Considering their stylish look, their decent air cooling, and their reliability you can honestly ask, "what's not to love about them". I can't just give Asus graphics cards their props and leave it at that though. I have to talk up all the other Asus products I've had. I rock two Asus monitors, a router and I've owned several generations of Asus motherboards. They basically crush all of their competition in every single genre.

GOLD!!! What more do you need to say?

May 8, 2015 | 11:56 AM - Posted by Robert Faust (not verified)

This would seriously help my fx-8350 with an aging gtx 680 on an ASUS ROG formula v motherboard. I need more FPS!!! I love this 20th aniversary edition because of the Pittsburgh Sports colors Black & Gold Baby !!!

May 8, 2015 | 12:00 PM - Posted by tyrax7

ASUS is known for product quality and reliability, so I'm sure this GTX 980 Gold edition is going to shine even with all the upcoming new GPUs expected this summer. Keep up the good work ASUS!

I haven't really been a fan of ASUS' other gold colored components, but this graphics card is really sharp. I might actually be able to match it to what is already in my rig.

May 8, 2015 | 12:49 PM - Posted by kent (not verified)

I like the look on my wives face when I try to explain why the thing in the case that she never looks at is sooooo much better when it has a certain amount of bling. This card will probably get one of those all time priceless looks.

May 8, 2015 | 02:31 PM - Posted by Johnny B. Webmaster (not verified)

I really like the look of it, and I have heard wonderful things about ASUS's treatment of the 980.

May 8, 2015 | 02:57 PM - Posted by Dan (not verified)

I have used Asus Motherboards / Graphics cards ... and ROG laptops. I am a firm believer in their product and have never had too many issues with their hardware. Any issues i have had were quickly rectified by there stellar support team and process. Now about the 980. I can just imagine that it will be a superb video card judging by their previous products that i have owned. That color scheme that has been chosen (gold/black) are very clean and crisp. It will surely get vast visual enjoyment just looking at it in my case. And as a gamer i am sure i will be in love with the performance this card offers in my gaming.

I really like what ASUS has done with their gold and black color schemes on their MOBO products, and now you guys have come out with this sick graphics card with the same color scheme. Imagine how amazing those 2 would look together. And WOW those black heatpipes are AMAZING!

I've always loved ASUS cards because of the build quality. Even when the card is long in the tooth and ready for replacement I have zero qualms about installing it in the system of a friend or relative when my NEW card arrives.

Also, if I were to win this card I would buy my first "windowed" case, something that I SWORE that I'd never do. Make a liar out of me, please!

May 9, 2015 | 02:43 AM - Posted by colin (not verified)

May 9, 2015 | 10:30 AM - Posted by GeekMarty (not verified)

I had three ASUS mainboards in the last decade and was never let down by them. Would love to complement my P8P67 with this shiny card!

May 9, 2015 | 11:23 AM - Posted by RageOfFury (not verified)

I've been an Asus fan for well over a decade. I love their high quality products, from motherboards, to GPUs, to laptops. Never had an issue with any of their products. I love my Asus STRIX GTX980 which overclocks like a beast. Running the GPU at 1455MHz boost and 8000MHz memory.

May 9, 2015 | 11:24 AM - Posted by vitalcanard

ASUS's high end cards remind of Cadillacs, serious horsepower with elegance. I'm willing to pay a bit extra for their well-designed, efficient, and quiet fan+heatpipe cards. I'm not normally a fan of gold, but I actually like the non-shiny gold finish on this 20th anniversary GTX 980. Once again, ASUS go it right!

May 9, 2015 | 11:47 AM - Posted by camberry

Holy cow this card looks AMAZING! I have a GTX 560ti that has served me really well, but this would be truly next level!

The color scheme is really cool. Very classy.

May 9, 2015 | 12:51 PM - Posted by Syllabub

May 9, 2015 | 01:59 PM - Posted by Mads (not verified)

I build my first ever system about a year ago. The graphics card configuration running in that is 2 ASUS GTX 780’s and I am very happy with them and have not had a single problem with them or any other ASUS component I have owned. I’m sure this anniversary edition will live up to the high quality standard I know ASUS for.

May 9, 2015 | 02:27 PM - Posted by Matt (not verified)

You can have the fastest, quietest, coolest graphics card on the market, but it means nothing unless it's from a company that actually backs and supports its products. That's why I love Asus. I have rarely had to contact them for issues but the few times I have, they have gone above and beyond the industry norm to help me.

May 9, 2015 | 02:30 PM - Posted by Anonymous (not verified)

I just love the look of those black heat pipes on the 20th Anniversary model.

Looking forward to my first ASUS graphics card if I win this one to experience first hand the quality that they offer and influence my future purchases.

ASUS cards have always carried a rather large premium in my country.
