AMD should above all not respond to CTS-Labs' alleged AMD Security Vulnerabilities using any of CTS Labs' concocted Vulnerability Naming/Nomencalture(Ryzenfall, Etc.).

AMD/others should require that all these alleged Vulnerabilities be Re-listed/Re-Classified under their proper Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures(CVE) Headings and not those obviously nefariously concocted CTS-Labs' Vulnerability Classification "Names".

AMD must not lend any credence towards the legitimacy of those CTS-Labs Questionable Vulnerability Classification Scheme Names(Ryzenfall, Etc.) that are obviously there to Pander to Fear Uncertainty and Doubt.

The entire Security Community Must only use the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures(CVE) Headings and not allow their industry to be fruther shamed(See the Linus Torvalds Comments on that Matter). These Names chosen BY CTS-Labs are not objective by any streatch of the imagination and should never be used to describe any security Vulnerabilities. These Vulnerabilities must have CVE headings and all makers' processors need to be tested outside of the sphere of influnce surrounding CTS-Labs' and any of its paid/contracted representatives or CTS-Labs' Clients(Viceroy Research, etc).

Do not pander to the stock minipulators that these folks are acting in collusion with. This has all the hallmarks of a snow job regardless of any merits these folks claims may have. CTS-Labs are not concered with any security threats reduction thay are only taking advantage of any threats, actual or not actual, to target AMD/AMD's reputation.

That kind of behavior must never be rewarded, ever!

Why can't Ryan get Tom Petersen to answer the GPP question. Hes been on several times. Isn't Nvidia a customer of Shrout Research and a add buyer.

Just kind of odd to me he had nothing to add with all his known contacts.

Pretty sure Tom still works for Nvidia, and Ryan did say Nvidia hasn't answered any of their questions regarding GPP(at the time of recording the podcast).

stupid lack of edit, ah the life of an anon.

anyway, Nvidia most likely won't let anyone on their end respond until they've cooked up a good spin to respond with about GPP shadiness.

March 15, 2018 | 04:44 PM - Posted by ThisIsSeriousBusinessWithLegalRegulatoryImplications (not verified)

Tom Petersen can not answer any of those questions owing to the obvious Antitrust implications of that [H]ardOCP story. Even the majority of the online gaming press fears Nvidia's wrath as those free review samples(With Strings Attatched) and other sorts of conflicits of interests that are endemic in that online gaming reporting sphere.

Folks had better read up on US Antitrust History and specifically pay close attention to some very similar Standard Oil Trust agreements. And that Trust arrangement forced onto the indipendent third party oil producers by Standard Oil, an Oil Market Abusive Monopoly market share holder(Standard Oil and Trust partners) in the oil market during the latter part of the 19th century and into the early part of the 20th century.

That Standard Oil Monolopy Trust arrangement was declared abusive and that was because Standard Oil and It's Trust Partners(Partners, Willing or Not) where forced into a vertically oriented market arrangement whereby the Standard Oil monolopy Trust was at the top/apex of control over the Vertically Integrated(Into The TRUST) indipendent third part oil producers, many of who where forced into that arrangement against their will(coerced).

That Standard Oil Trust that was created to illegially maintain monopoly market share control and congress had to enact the antitrust laws to bring back reason and fair market competition into the Oil Markets that was the major
new market driving economic growth/innovation at that time.

That Nvidia Trust Agreement that seeks to vertically integrate the indipendent 3rd party Gaming GPU AIB's and Gaming PC/Laptop OEM's Branding, and well Known Branding for a very long time at that, under/and for Nvidia's use only to the exclusion of AMD/Others is about to be placed under some extreme Vetting by the US Justice Dapartment's Antitrust Division to see if there are applicable antitrust violations.

That GPP story is not gong away anytime soon, and any attempts to discourage the press will bring that whole sordid review sample/other conflicts of interests to the attention of the FTC, as well as other state and federal regulators and assoicated congressional oversight committees. And That's not going to be seen is a good light what with all that available Review Sample/Review Manual sorts of carrot and stick tatics and Unlimited NDA conditions controversies that are well preserved by the WWW wayback machine.

History is the gamer's best friend with regards to what is acceptable, especially US Antitrust History and similar history around the world.

you must have a LOT of free time to come up with these walls of text, geez-louise

March 16, 2018 | 12:18 PM - Posted by GeneticDiversityInReverseInYourCase (not verified)

When the amout of Walls-O-Text becomes more of an issue than what was said in that Walls-O-Text post then all the other readers can see for themselves just how little mental ability and capactity that Anonymously Anonymous possesses. Most definitely Anonymously Anonymous is so lacking in actual gray matter that that single enfeebled cell of gray that floats in that vast ocean of lipids beneath the thickest of bone cries out in metaphysical agony even when doing something that's, to most, as easy as adding 2 and 2 to come up with a solution.

Anonymously Anonymous your forbearers must have had all the time in the world to procreate with their sisters and you are the end result of that very unwise mixture of genetic material and its expression of the most harmful of recessive genetic traits.

You are looking a little green around your actual gills and maybe you had better crawl back under that rock that's under that thick layer of pond scum.

March 16, 2018 | 03:37 PM - Posted by Anonymously Anonymous (not verified)

yea, your wall-o-txt is an issue because it is annoying and distracting, and I mean those in not good ways.
And if you really are hte same person behind all of these anon great-wall-o-txt's, you might have some good points, but presented as so much text it can be seen from space is not the say to do it.

Sure, if PcPer is willing to put up with what amounts to whitenoise in the comment section, then carry on. But understand, you are going to keep getting flak for it and if you want others to take you more seriously, stop posting rambling and extremely verbose comments, cut out all the bs and just get to the point.

should be:

Those post are designed to be informative as well as being sepcifically designed to press all of your buttons. You are such a bog standard idiot and a most egregious fool. And that's a good thing that those Wall-O-Texts get under your mangy hide. Just look at those webbed hands and feet and that pronounced cranial ridge that runs 360 degrees around that thick boned noggin of yours.

Your anger is so very delicious for all to see with your word count aversion and non ability to post any cogent replies. Just look at you as you damend that: oh stop those words all those words that make me so angry that I have to post comments demanding that all those words be stricken from the dictionary.

Just look at that pickle puss pout of yours, ah ha ha ha ha!
