Answer for Mr Shrout, At least from this collie man. I am one of the people who skiped win 8, simply because my beloved is not tech savvy but she uses all the systems in the house, she has learned over the years how to do exactly what she wants to do, (not just surfing but games too) safely, and the "Metro" GUI would have simply gotten in the way of that. BUT every system in the home is going WIN-10, but "excited"?....... it's gotten to the point where it's like a new sidewalk being paved. It's gona be better than the old one and it's gona make my walk nicer and more efficient and I am happy it's there, but I'm not exactly giddy with anticipation that it's being paved. Makes sense?

DX12 super excited for, but it's gona be YEARS before devs learn to push it to it's extreme, (some are still innovating on DX9, just sayin..) so that's just good not bat shit crazy.

I have been buying AMD stock for the last two months. I doubled my position these past few days after the earnings warning and all the dire predictions made in most of the online investment blogs. I believe it is in no ones best interest to have only Intel doing X86 and only Nvidia doing discrete graphics. I also believe that Fury is competitive and it can only get better and it will grab market share and generate a significant increase in revenues in the next six months. And Sebastian's story about his clients renewed interest in laptops due to win 10 bodes well for Carrizo, as many will be looking to buy in the $400-800 range I hope. And their decision to take a hit on the present process node and move ahead seems forward and positive thinking. And then there is Zen, maybe icing on the investment cake.

Just sharing this because at around $2.00 a share my fellow pcperers who agree with my thinking might want invest in a few thousand shares. Heck, you can buy a few thousand shares for $4k.

I am also giving the benefit of the doubt to the new and highly talented management team. I only hope their decision to price the fury x @ $650 despite Ryan and others telling them it would significantly change the conclusions of their review was because they figured they would be supply constrained and could sell out at that price anyway. I hoped the air cooled Fury would have come in at a lower price, but it is within reason; if yields are relatively low, they should be able to sell as many as they have made, and with a higher margin. When yields improve I can see then dropping the price to around $450. At that price it would fly off the shelves. In any case, I am hoping management is capable of pulling this off. I also hope that their public relations people realize already that the community want to get behind them but it is hard when they treat us in such a patronizing and condescending way. Hate that shit so much.
