When you pick up OEM processors, you don’t even get the option to use a stock cooler, and have to wade through all the 3rd party choices, which is something our members know about.  It matters even more when you are overclocking a Conroe, or just consulting the Overclocking Bible.  You also want to make sure that the case you use has good airflow, or it won’t matter what heatsink you use.
