As you can no doubt tell, PC Perspective got a HUGE and much needed facelift over the weekend to what we are internally calling "PC Perspective v4.0".  I know there are still some kinks to work out and we are actively addressing any feedback from our readers in this comment thread.

But we want to celebrate the launch of the new site in style!!  Some of our site sponsors have very generously offered up some prizes for us to give out throughout the coming days...

The third set of prizes is a pair of Thermaltake esports Challenger Ultimate Gaming Keyboard!

These babies have just about everything you want on a keyboard and probably more.  Backlight? Check.  On-board audio jacks and USB ports?  Yup.  A FAN??? Yessir.

What do you have to do to win this wonderful piece of hardware?

Couldn't be easier: post a comment in this post thanking Thermaltake for its sponsorship of PC Perspective as well as what you want to see most on your next keyboard.  I want a drink holder.

You should probably have a registered account or at least be sure you include your email address in the appropriate field so we can contact you!

We will pick the winners tomorrow and move on to the next hardware that finds its way to PC Perspective offices.  Good luck and thanks for reading!!

Thanks Thermaltake for supporting the best podcast in the industry!

I'd love to see a USB port on the top of the keyboard rather than on the side!!!

Thermaltake: Thanks for your sponsorship and offering an awesome keyboard for a give away!

I think you would want to include a G11-inspired LCD display, but make it much cooler/useful (add support for calculator functions w numpad, maybe include xfire/teamspeak UI to reduce screen clutter and in-game availability). Bundling scheduling software could be a plus too

April 21, 2011 | 07:02 AM - Posted by Anonymous (not verified)

Thanks Thermaltake.

I'd want to have a detachable numpad, I carry a wireless keyboard with my laptop and sometimes I want a smaller keyboard while moving around. Unfortunately it doesn't have a numpad for when I want to get my nethack on. The numpad is my preferred method of movement in the game. I can't stand to use the fn keys for numpad emulation as my coordination isn't all that great. Right now I carry a separate usb numpad for this reason. So it'd be great to have it be detachable from my main keyboard instead of having to carry around another accessory.

Thanks Thermaltake!

I would love to see a key lock of some sort, or custom hard cover. So when you have kids, they can't go and just mash your keyboard, destroying buttons. When they attempt to mash, the keys are locked in place, or they are met by a shield of some sort.

Thank you ThermalTake for your continued sponsorship and support of PCPer.

I'd like to see separate lighting colours on the WASD cluster. That would make it easier to find in the dark.

Thanks Thermaltake for supporting the PCPER crew. Would love the ability to choose backlighting color.

Thermaltake rocks. I have a modded Element S case, your hdd docking station and I've turned some friends on to the Frio cooler. Love your products and really dig this keyboard. Props for offering this up. Good luck everyone!

April 21, 2011 | 09:53 AM - Posted by Gls90a

Thanks Thermaltake for your continued support of PCPER.com As for what I would like to see on a future keyboard.... I know this is kinda out there but how about a hot swapable SSD bay tucked into the board somehow. Not entirely sure how you could make that bootable but it would indeed be awesome.

April 21, 2011 | 10:18 AM - Posted by avitus

Thanks Thermaltake. Ive used your products going on 5 years now and they've never let me down. Thanks for your sponsorship. Also, pcper great idea updating the site, it looks amazing.

April 21, 2011 | 10:27 AM - Posted by TechKnow

Big thanks to Thermaltake for the chance at this beauty. One thing i would love is a mappable backlight system.

having the ability to map a certain backlight color, or map the light to only certain keys, would do wonders for me since i prefer to game in low light conditions.

I can't count how many times i've lifted my paws of the keyboard only to place them back down 1 key off and waste my ultimate or fired the wrong weapon. Bah! i tell you, Bah!

April 21, 2011 | 10:35 AM - Posted by iBaliw

Thank you Thermaltake and PC Per. Now,can i has one?

Thank you Thermaltake for sponsoring one of the most useful web-sites of its kind for PC enthusiastists. Thank you also for bringing to market some of the most interesting cases and keyboards available.

Keyboard features I'd love to see are a split keyboard design to alleviate carpal tunnel stress, and a spill-proof and washable design.

April 21, 2011 | 11:45 AM - Posted by igloo iguana (not verified)

Thank you to Thermaltake?
That looks awesome.
I would like to have a keyboard I can wash easier :)

The new pcper cite looks great also.

Thanks for supporting this site, Thermaltake!

April 21, 2011 | 12:38 PM - Posted by Jess Boettcher (not verified)

Thank you ThermalTake for sponsoring PC Perspective! What I'd like to see in a keyboard is either grip-coated aluminum covers (So it's much harder to break), or liquid-proofing (For we humans on the clumsier side of the scale). :)

April 21, 2011 | 01:15 PM - Posted by AquaTard (not verified)

TT is bad***. I'd like a keyboard that is spill-proof. I'd hate to ruin such a nice keyboard.

April 21, 2011 | 01:16 PM - Posted by Anonymous (not verified)

Thanks a lot TT, this keybrd should go perfectly with a Level 10GT on my desk.

April 21, 2011 | 01:18 PM - Posted by robbadler (not verified)

Thermaltake, I read reviews of your products, and I use them. Thank you for your support of my PC, and of PCPer

April 21, 2011 | 02:27 PM - Posted by gunner

Thanks for offering your great keyboard to the PCPer geek-verse.

The only thing I can suggest for a new feature would be 12V battery posts so I could start my car remotely with the Caps Lock key. At least that way there would finally be a use for that dreaded outcast. ;-)

April 21, 2011 | 02:32 PM - Posted by soto (not verified)

That's a sweet looking Thermaltake keyboard! A fan too?

April 21, 2011 | 02:50 PM - Posted by jebner

April 21, 2011 | 03:48 PM - Posted by James (not verified)

I happen to use a thermaltake shark case and if that is any indication the build quality should be good without paying through the nose.

April 21, 2011 | 03:57 PM - Posted by TooPercent

Thanks Thermaltake for the sponsorship!

I love your Frio CPU cooler!

I would like to see a biometric fingerprint reader, that when scanned, auto loads the user's preferences.

Maybe a game profile per finger!

I think that for me the best option is a watch (a BIG watch) to see how accurate is the time!

April 21, 2011 | 05:28 PM - Posted by vanster

Thanks Thermaltake. I want white backlight option, full-size keys (including function keys), a keyboard that moves the "windows" keys to a different location away from the bottom row like up above the function keys or numpad, a mouse scroll wheel below the space bar for one thumb and mouse buttons below the space bar for the other thumb, a usb port for easily inserting a USB pen drive, a USB port for plugging a mouse in, a shutdown windows button, include cable ties or a cable clip mechanism, large enter key, option to reverse numbers on the numpad making it either 1-2-3 (like a phone) on the top or 7-8-9 on the top, a built-in or attachable plastic accessory that allows you to hold a piece of paper upright in place for reading while typing, a light showing me if 'insert' is on or off, a clock with an alarm. That is all.
