Gaming headsets are found in much greater variety, now that TeamSpeak or some type of in-game communication is expected with multiplayer titles.  ExtremeTech compares 2 of the top models that allow you to lay the verbal smackdown on your opponent while gibbing them with whatever weapon is close to hand.
