I saw this monitor at CES at the start of 2012 and it was absolutely stunning. When I found out the street price was going to be around $1,300, my jaw dropped. At $1K, this might be a deal if you need very high resolution and precise color reproduction.
Edit: even at this sale price, I think it should be made capable to run at 120hz.
