Not to imply that looking at more Bulldozer reviews is like rubbernecking as you pass an accident … but there are some similarities. While it might not be as great a performer as we were hoping, the chance to finally see AMD’s new architecture is still a great thing. A totally new way of looking at a CPU Core, a brand new style of overclocking and a processor that seems almost ahead of its time when you examine its multitasking capabilities is interesting even if it does not deliver the processing power that we hoped for. Check out The Tech Report’s indepth report to see what they thought of its performance.

would i be wrong in thinking that prefetch and superfetch need to be enabled with bulldozer?
also the way FMCA work and the fact even intel doesnt have it:i highly doubt this is even working as intended at windows end!
since techreport mention fmca is critical to keep pace with intel was wondering a lot about this!like i say i doubt windows
is working properly espacialy with something even intel doesnt have and wont have for years yet!
after reading various place
after reading various place it seams buldozer way of doing have been giving headacke to programmer!so guys it isnt a cpu issue it is a software issue that has been going on for months.so sadlyt they released early!plus the fact at ms end it probably doesnt look better we arent lucky!linux end is almost ready for patching from what i linux community say!we arent talking about the os themselves from what i see but to finish coding buldozer
it is so new nothing is terminal, not the gpu program not the cpu not the os nothing!so be patient!
amd knew they have to make
amd knew they have to make one chip for server and desktop so in the designing i think they chose a more server like platform, so to me bulldozer is very appealing because i want to put a small server and im learning opencl on linux and from that point of view bd also looks very good so to me im glad they chose that pat
ryan:would it be possible to
ryan:would it be possible to multi test this cpu.
like instead of doing one test at a time do 4 test at the same time.cause this is how user use the cpu they dont just mmogame or fraps or burn video or listen to music on youtube etc. they do it all at once.
i am curious in this scenario how bd fare against say 2600 since all the rest would be reashed data lol.
