SUNNYVALE, Calif. — Jan. 11, 2007 — AMD (NYSE:AMD) today announced revenue, excluding ATI-related segments, for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2006 is expected to increase approximately three percent from the $1.33 billion reported in the third quarter of 2006. Fourth quarter operating income, excluding ATI-related segments and acquisition-related charges, is expected to be positive but substantially lower than in the third quarter.  The fourth quarter gross margin and operating income were impacted by significantly lower microprocessor average selling prices, which largely offset a significant increase in unit sales.
