It seems my Venice core article has gotten quite a few links in from around the web and has gotten a lot of reads over the last couple of days.  I have gotten a lot of positive emails and the discussion in the forums is good as well.  I’m glad to see people excited about these parts again, as I know a lot of the online media is too.

I’ve still got a few articles in the pipeline, two of which are based around the Pentium M and two of which are graphics card related.  ATI surprised me with a X850 XT PE AGP card in the mail last week and both ATI and NVIDIA are eager to see me review their competing HyperMemory and TurboCache products.  We’ll see what transpires there.

As far as the house goes, I am still being impressed by the speed of the home construction process.  If you look below, the last picture from a previous update shows the first floor having just been outline framed.  Now, only 4 working days later, we have this much completed:

This image is 22 days into construction, meaning just 22 days after the first bit of ground was being broken. 

Also today I found out that my car insurance company “changed the status of my car”, which is a Subaru STI, from a class 20 to a class 26, whatever that means.  What I do know is that my car insurance goes up from monthly premiums of $128 to $254!!  Obviously this means war…
