Corsair did more than just wait for CES to announce two new AiO liquid coolers, they also sent them out for review. The H115i Pro is an update to the H110i Pro and retains its dual 140mm fan design, with an improved pump and new look. The H150i Pro is new, with a 360mm radiator and three 120mm fans; in both cases they are advertised as low noise fans which is a major change from the previous series which placed performance over quiet operation. That choice did not hurt the cooling capability of these AiO's, The Tech Report's testing showed slightly better performance with significantly less noise produced. ThreadRipper owners beware, these coolers support Intel and AM4 sockets only.
"Corsair's H115i Pro and H150i Pro closed-loop liquid coolers represent the biggest change to the company's popular liquid-cooling hardware in quite some time. We put one of the hottest CPUs around underneath these coolers to see whether Corsair's update was a success."

Having a hot 8700k, would it
Having a hot 8700k, would it be worth upgrading to this from my Fractal Designs 360mm rad? I’m invested in the Corsair environment (ll fans, commander pro, LED ram, ETC) I’d love it to be a bit quieter.

I do have a use for the Fractal elsewhere, so its not just a meaningless upgrade.

Zotac announces ZBOX MA551
Zotac announces ZBOX MA551 Mini-PC with Ryzen 65W Raven Ridge APU, and no story from PCPer.
Vega mobile with HBM2(single stack) Announced and not very much about it from PCcer.
Zen/Raven Ridge desktop APUs are incoming and there needs to be more focus on AMD’s new APUs that are entering the competative space against Intel and Intel’s In-House Graphics that’s pretty far behind without a little help from Nvidia on the outside, or even AMD on the outside against these Raven Ridge desktop SKUs nad their Vega Graphics.
That Mini-Micro Desktop box market that has for so long been so tatally in Intel’s hands can now have some more affordable options with AMD’s Raven Ridge inside for a larger share of this popular form factor market. That Intel/Vega mashup’s mark-up is going to be priced too high so many may want more reporting done on the desktop Raven Ridge options in the NUC like Mini-Micro desktop form factor market from AMD.
AMD could use a two die, 4
AMD could use a two die, 4 channel memory socket. I guess they are going for economy of scale with using either AM4 or SP3/TR4 only. A two die, 4 channel memory socket doesn’t need to be anywhere near the size of the full SP3 socket (Epyc) with 4 die and 8 channel memory. They may be able to do interesting things with it, I guess, but a smaller socket would have much better compatibility with cooling solutions. Perhaps they will come out with a new socket later with Zen 2.
I have an original Corsair
I have an original Corsair H100 which, while servicable, is annoyingly loud. Perhaps its time for an upgrade/update!
