[H]ard|OCP took 2 BFG 8800GTX’s, 2 GB of Corsair RAM and 2 different motherboards.  One is an EVGA NVIDIA nForce 680i with a Core 2 Duo X6800 processor.  The second is an ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe 590 SLI with an Athlon 64 FX-62.

This a straight up head to head on some of the newest and most demanding games.  Any difference seen is an example of the CPU not being able to keep up to the SLI cards.
