Anitomicals C is a inventive computer enthusiast who has built his own version of Microsoft's large PixelSense workspace (once called Surface); a dual touchscreen desktop machine. It looks like a laptop in that it folds closed but packs desktop components, with graphics handled by a proper GTX 1080 and with a server PSU hidden inside. At 10kg (22lbs) it is a bit heavy to carry around daily but certainly portable. He has designed it in such a way that input peripherals are superfluous, for those who do not need them or cannot use them.

IF he had used touch screen displays instead of regular cheap-o’s, it definitely would have been a much more interesting device. As it is(or was) cool concept, but too bad it didn’t last him very long.

Because he could? I mean I wish I had them lying around all over the place and could just do that too. Apparently he picked up a bunch off of a disappointed miner and went with it.
I totally agree this would be perfect for disabled users and using an APU so you avoid needing the space and cooling for the discrete GPU would make it far more portable.
I’ve actually been thinking
I’ve actually been thinking of building a portable desktop case with a built in screen and I’m sure you can build one which has the width of a 17.3″ screen at about 15 litres.
If you use a shorter length gpu I think you could build a case with the width of a 15.6″ display.
If you keep the component part of the case under 8cm you can fit a sfx psu plus a decent low profile cooler on the motherboard. It would also be a good idea to use a flexible riser and have the gpu facing up for better cooling.
The issue I’m having is that I can’t seem to find a controller board for any 120/144Hz 15.6″ or 17.3″ displays.
