According to Hackaday, 50 of the 147 HobbyTowns in the US will soon contain a 5002 foot RadioShack Express section. In it you will find electronic components which should go beyond the basic equipment offered in HobbyTown and will more resemble the Radio Shack of yore. It may soon be that you can pop down to grab some resistors, caps or other random surface mounted kit, along with a variety of the other components you could once grab after a quick car ride as opposed to waiting for the mail order to arrive. Pop on over if you have an interest in the history and the possible resurgence of Radio Shack.
"Still, I’m cautiously optimistic that this is a positive development for RadioShack, and I think it’s a win for electronics hobbyists overall. I’ll be keeping my eye on my local HobbyTown for the return of that iconic RadioShack logo, and looking forward to the day that I can pay a buck for a resistor again."

I’d like some Low and High
I’d like some Low and High side Power MOSFETS(Non Niko) and a proper PWM IC to handle 8 actually independent power Phases plus enough of those extra phases that are not part of the 8(Actually Indipendent Phases) so the CPU can have some clean power at the most efficient per phase current draw! And while you are at it Let me have that Laptop Home Builder’s KIT with a nice MB and thicker laptop case and my choice of a beefy laptop cooling solution so the SOC/APU will not be forced to operate below its base clock most of the time. Don’t forget the proper LCD options also for that laptop kit and options for MXM based mobile GPUs.

Yea I miss Radio shack it was
Yea I miss Radio shack it was great to be able to go down and buy pretty much anything for a project you were working on. Here in Canada Radio shack was bought out by The Source and it is kinda like Radio Shack but it is missing pretty much all of the things that made Radio Shack great and you no longer can get those little nick nack’s for those projects because The Source does not handle that.
