Ive been playing subnautica
Ive been playing subnautica for a couple years and its still fun as hell. I really like being able to wonder around, played 100 hours in Morrowind and never got past the Casius missions. Even getting attacked by Leviathans is pretty chill.

AFAIK Gabe worked at MS. He is basically family. Deal seems likely.
Right and Gabe is such a
Right and Gabe is such a family member that he expressed his distaste With Windows 8/TIFKAM and stresses his belief in open source by having Valve create Steam OS(1) a Denian based distro!
We all Know what will happen after 2020-2023 when M$ EOLs Windows 7 and 8.1! So Gabe is really not a member of the Redmond Family(Satya, The Cloud, Nadella; Julie, Ribbon Strangler, Larson-Green; Phil, Pay to Play, Spencer; and the rest of the Minion Enforcers in the Family) and their master plan to rule the gaming/OS universe on third party OEM and Home bilder Laptops/PC systems hardware. And that includes the XBONEing of the PC/Laptop software API ecosystem so everybody gets the console experience with the chains that bind tied only to the M$ Store.
Valve and the Linux gaming community are all working towards Linux Gaming. And that includes the folks working on a DX12 to Vulkan Translation layer for running DX12 games on Linux/Vulkan.
From Wikipedia entry on Steam OS:
“During a panel at LinuxCon in 2013, Valve co-founder and executive director Gabe Newell stated that he believed “Linux and open source are the future of gaming” (though his beliefs about games themselves being open source is unclear), going on to say that the company is aiding game developers who want to make games compatible with Linux, and that they would be making an announcement the following week related to introducing Linux into the living room.[17] On September 20, 2013, Valve posted a statement on its website titled The Steam Universe is Expanding in 2014 which teased three new announcements from them related to “even more ways to connect the dots for customers who want Steam in the living-room.”[18][19] The first announcement was revealed on September 23 as SteamOS, with Valve saying they had “come to the conclusion that the environment best suited to delivering value to customers is an operating system built around Steam itself.”[20] A large focus of the reveal was the openness of the operating system, with it being announced that users would be able to alter or replace any part of the software, and that it would be free.[21]” (1)

The Zen(officially launched
The Zen(officially launched on March 2, 2017) microprocessor one year anniversary is coming up and look at all the new informations that has been added to Wikichip’s Zen microarchitecture entry. It’s become full of some very interesting new(nice Raven Ridge die shots/other) info. It’s a good read now with more info as the Zen one year anniversary approaches.

Question for MailBAG:
Why is intel still producing Itanium series processors ?
And what are they used for ?
I was looking up a processor on ark.intel.com, and i saw they still have a Itanium series, and the 9700 series from Q2 2017 ?
they at a glance do not look much different than other series, except maybe “Intel® Virtualization Technology for Itanium (VT-i)” ? and more cache per core than other series ?
what is this VT-i good for ?
Supercomputer clusters and
Supercomputer clusters and while xeons have gotten most of the redundancy and error correction stuff that used to set the itanium series apart IIRC there are still a couple advantages to itanium for mission critical processing. Been a long time since reading abt them but they are able to be extremely accurate with massive numbers and math operations though i think that is one of the areas xeons caught up or surpassd them on, and now it is moreso redundancy and beefed up ecc that separate them.
they would have sold all
they would have sold all those cards to gamers for sure, but miners were willing to pay more
you guys try to make it seem as if they only did as well as they did because of crypto, but i think it is more about who bought the cards, not how many they could sell
if they could have made a lot more, they would have sold a lot more, miners or not
enough fucking ‘like’ allyn; learn fucking english and another preposition; valley girls must love you though
