The Thermaltake Core P100 is something new to the market, except perhaps for the Cooler Master HAF Stacker 935 case components. It adds additional space to Thermaltake's W100 chassis and is aptly named as the P100 is placed underneath the W100. You will need to assemble it as it ships in pieces, just as the W100 does so expect to put some work into setting up these cases. Once assembled it measures 9.8×12.2×26.7" and gives you space to add additional radiators to your system, you could place the PSU in there and still fit in some smaller radiators or perhaps even fill it with drives. Drop by [H]ard|OCP to see some of the possiblities, including a complete mini-ITX build.
"The Thermaltake Core P100 Pedestal is an expansion part for the Thermaltake W100 full tower case previously reviewed here. What the P100 does is give you the ability to expand you cooling system's ability or give you space for extra storage among other things into an entirely self-contained unit below the W100 chassis."

In before the
In before the anti-Thermaltake/pro-CaseLabs garbage starts.
Except it’s not garbage.
Except it’s not garbage. Thermalfake are evil.
Wish all cases had optional
Wish all cases had optional casters included. Especially cases with bottom venting.
not offend anyone, but I
not offend anyone, but I tried thermaltake, never again.
Hell, I rather build my component on a homemade cardboard box (cost:1-5$) and still have better value/performance ratio than their cases.
Seriously. Do not give
Seriously. Do not give Thermaltake your money, your support or anything at all. The best thing that could happen to them if they would go bust and never be heard from again.
See, I knew this thread would
See, I knew this thread would devolve into this garbage … even after CaseLabs apologized to Thermaltake and admitted they took their design cues from Mountain Mods and admitted they don’t have any copyrights like they first claimed.

I’ve owned both, and they both have their place. I have no qualms about buying a $150 TT case and taking a Dremel to it and modding it. I do have reservations to doing that to a $550+ CaseLabs case. The CL case is superior in quality, but just about every build you see is nothing more than “an assembly”. To me, you can’t consider it a “build” unless you hack it and make it your own.
That’s just my opinion.
The only reason Caselabs
The only reason Caselabs apologized was because Thermaltake’s lawyers had sent them a letter threatening action unless CL withdrew their comments. Caselabs had little choice because they didn’t have the money and resources to fight a legal battle with a relative giant like Thermaltake.
Long story short, Thermaltake blatantly stole Caselabs ideas and designs and then bullied them into apologizing for having spoken out. (What happened to freedom of speech there?)
Thermaltake are bullies, plain and simple. Bullying is not acceptable anywhere, in any shape, form or walk of life. I won’t condone bullying and nor should you or anyone else. If you buy Thermaltake products, you are condoning and supporting bullying.

I want to add to
I want to add to this.
Caselabs were forced into apologizing and silence because they are not allowed to comment any further on the whole affair. But the community has no such obligation. The community can support this small firms that Thermaltake have blatantly stolen from (remember the numerous articles at the time).
It’s up to the community to remember this incident and support the small firms in the community by boycotting the bullies. Because some of the biggest names in the business are actually tiny firms. And you don’t want this tiny firms to be destroyed by bullies like Thermaltake.
Anyone could be next in the firing line. Mnpctech, Mayhems, ModMyMods, Darkside, Hardware Labs, Bitspower, and many many others. Many of these are family firms or just simple very, very small. If you don’t take a stand against Thermaltake, then any one of these superb companies that are so brilliant for the community could be Thermaltake’s next victims.
I purchased a Thermaltake
I purchased a Thermaltake Core X71 full knowing of the whole bullshit “scandal” surrounding Thermaltake and that particular case at the time.
No regrets. The case is absolutely flawless, not a single scratch or dent, very modular and it’s a beauty. Not a single flaw that I can find, it is everything I wanted in a case and more.
Highly recommend Thermaltake products if they’re anything like the one Thermaltake case I’ve owned, because I’ve owned quite a few brand cases (Fractal Design, Phanteks, Coolermaster, etc.) and none of them were as good as my Thermaltake Core X71.
The hate Thermaltake gets is entirely unfounded and misguided. If you’re one of the people who’ve been on the outside of the whole Thermaltake controversy, don’t believe what those lunatics have to say – Thermaltake makes good cases at a good price. I love mine.
