Computer Base (German language, Google-translated link here) has rounded up five CPU water blocks to see which might offer the highest performance on their Intel Core i7 3960X-equipped testbed.
The tested water blocks include:
- Alphacool NexXxos XP3 Light V.2
- Phobya UC-2 LT
- Raijintek CWB-C1
- Heatkiller IV Pro Pure Copper
- XSPC Raystorm Pro
The review offers an thorough look at the design of each water block, as well as an interesting look at the effects of flow-rate on performance:
"The test has been shown that with increasing flow rate decreases the temperature difference of the water before and after heat sinks. However, the question arises whether a higher flow also has a positive effect on the cooling performance itself. A negative effect of increasing flow as well: Most pumps are unthrottled very loud to work, so that a reduced pump capacity is useful for a silent water cooling."

>No GODLIKE Swiftech Apogee anywhere
Yep, into the trash this so-called “article” instantly goes. Worthless.
What a marvelously
What a marvelously constructive comment.

Go back in 1999 and educate yourself properly on the matter, kiddo.
It’s just a bot. Every post
It’s just a bot. Every post for the last several years has been the same format: “[reviewed product] is not as good as my GODLIKE [alternative product]”. One would think the devs would give it at least a few adjectives to cycle through, not just “GODLIKE”.
Neither an adjective, or a
Neither an adjective, or a word.
Nice try, but no cigar,
Nice try, but no cigar, kiddo. You need to try way harder thsn just that. Calm your scrubby casual’s ass down and try again after you actually buy and use any of the Swiftech’s products. There is a very good reason why in the worldwide PC enthusiast community (to which you clearly doesn’t belong to) Swiftech is being regarded as the absolute top tier when it comes down to both the FCWCLs and AIOs, their products are being highly sought-for in ‘Murica especially (due to patent-troll sales ban because of Asstick’s asinine actions), of all other countries. It’s a very solidly established fact, which is backed up by hundreds of professional reviews left for everyone to check out throughout the internet, that Swiftech’s AIOs in general, and especially their latest offerings, are THE absolutely and truly GODLIKE products by EVERY aspect in overall. You clearly don’t know jack about Gabriel Rouchon’s water cooling company and/or their products, if you actually in all seriousness believe that I’m done kind of a bot or “trolling”. I’m 100% genuine with my feelings when it comes does down to mentioning Swiftech and their products anywhere, because I’ve personally used pretty much each and every major water cooling manufacturer’s products throught out these 19 years of me being a heavily dedicated PC configurations builder and a sophisticated PC enthusiast, and nobody so far has came even remotely close to Swiftech sheer “quality to reliability to performance to design to price” ratio-wise. I say that Swiftech’s products are truly GODLIKE simply because THEY ARE. Nothing more or less than just that. Sure, I do NOT deny that there are some other quite great water cooling manufacturers out there in the world, like BitsPower and Alpha Cool, for example, and I use their products from time to time too, but no one so far could beat the PURE PERFECTION that is Swiftech. And if you’re so buttmad about the mere fact that someone out there genuinely loves Swiftech or truly hates and outright loathes with a passion such TRASH as EK and AssTick, that is your and ONLY your personal problem, kiddo. I’ve been building PC configurations completely from scratch by my own hands when you haven’t even been born yet, so you might as well just scram with that lame “he’s a bot, hurr durr durr” kindergartner-level crap of yours. Stay mad about the fact that I know about water cooling market way more than you. Stay mad, I guess.
You know if you just hit
You know if you just hit capslock your pinky finger wouldn’t have to work so hard. Also I would know instantly to scroll past your prepubescent tantrum without a second thought.
