Cooler Master's V750W PSU is fully modular and comes with a nice selection of cabling including four PCIe 6+2 connectors and eight SATA power connectors. At 150x140x86mm (5.9×5.5×3.4") it also takes up less space than many PSUs, though not enough to fit in a truly SFF case. A single 12V rail can provide 744W at 62A which is enough to power more than one mid to high range GPU and Bjorn3D's testing shows that it can maintain that 80+ GOLD rating while it is being used. The five year warranty is also a good reason to pick up this PSU, assuming you are not in the market for something in the kilowatt range.
"One available option soon to be available on the market for <179$, and our specimen of review today, is the CoolerMaster V750. CoolerMaster has partnered with Seasonic to produce the high quality compact “V” series PSUs which made a huge statement for CoolerMaster and told the world they were ready to push some serious power."

Did I just time travel? I have had that PSU in my backup PC for well over a year.

I thought the same thing at first…but maybe you are thinking of the virtually identical VSM (aka. semi-modular) series of PSU’s? Both lines of these V-series PSU’s seem to be impressive units and would be on my short list if/when my old reliable Cooler Master Real Power Pro 650W gives up the ghost. It dates back to mid 2008 and is the only thing other than my keyboard that has lasted through iterations of my main rig.
I’m glad the post makes note of the physical size. I appreciate the fact that these actually fit the nominal ATX chassis standard depth of 140mm. Too many models sold by the likes of Corsiar, EVGA, etc. have a length of 180mm+ which would definitely interfere with the bottom fan mount on my current case.

I have the EVGA 750P2, it was 109 and it’s Platinum certified. Better deal IMO

80 plus is completely MEANINGLESS.
Who actually makes the PSU and what kind of capacitors and other components is the most important thing.
This Cooler Master is a Seasonic and they make some of the best PSUs you can buy.

The fully modular V-series is certainly not new.
I’ve owned a V850 ( http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=350 ) for more than a year; which makes Bjorn’s conclusion: “The “V” series is sure to become synonymous with quality in discussion when mentioning mini-Watt PSUs.” downright bizarre, given that the V-series has been exactly that since 2013.
