Just a typo, sorry about that!
From someone who is full AMD
From someone who is full AMD about cpu choices and just favoring AMD in the gpu ones – NOT saying “NO” to Nvidia, I am full Nvidia this period, just preferring AMD – I would like to thank you for your efforts to educate us about frame rating. You are doing the right thing in the right way.
Hope AMD does not forget customers with older cards (HD6000 and older).
As an enthusiast it baffles
As an enthusiast it baffles me why anyone would choose to attack the personal character of someone who works very hard to bring the DIY community valid information. I for one would like to offer my support as a member of the community to Mr. Shrout who from what I’ve seen has done nothing but aid the development of better and honest reviews of the tech we all love. Keep up the great work sir and try not to listen to the forum trolls on reddit.
I would also like to give my
I would also like to give my gratitude to Mr. Shrout and team for their outstanding analysis on GPU benchmarking. You have my full support man. I joined here shortly after you done the article on frame rating beginning of the year and left a couple other sites who still don’t understand this method and are too biased towards a brand/company.
Keep it up and you won’t lose reader/viewers, it’s the opposite actually. You gained more, I’m proof of that and so do most of my PC Gaming friends now 🙂
I had no idea the drama going
I had no idea the drama going on behind the scene. Like Josh said if i am going to spend and additional 300 bucks on a second GPU i really want to know what i can expect from all the players. Keep them honest guys, your GPU reviews are honestly the only ones i read anymore because you can verify real world performance. Keep it up gang!
It’ll be super awesome if
It’ll be super awesome if AMD’s new GPU is at 780/Titan level, but I’d probably hang on to my money to see Nvidia’s response, if only for the inevitable price cut.
Hey just wanted to let you
Hey just wanted to let you guys know that I have only ever bought AMD CPU’s and GPU’s and I am glad that you are doing the work to make people aware of these issues. Keep it up man you have my support.
Also just wanted to add this is the internet. Anonymous people say stupid crap all the time. Just look at the console wars. The NVidia vs ATI wars have been going on just as long, and to tell you the truth I have always felt are much more childish than the console wars. Considering the avg age group involved in PC Gaming vs Console gaming.
i want it noted that ryan is
i want it noted that ryan is clear ly BIOS…. lol
and im going to JOSHTECH.COM , on that Josh is also BIOS
because he has moved those AMD FX Boxes from the background
and now has some asus stuff? Deffo BIOS!
LOL
PS Trolls ! this is sarcasm !
Ryan and company,
Your long
Ryan and company,
Your long time listeners and readers know that you have journalistic integrity. We are silent voices though because we have screaming kids, jobs, and ain’t nobody got time for internet communities.
In the vernacular of your accusers (at least in my mind: “Haters gonna hate.” Pay them no mind.
Keep up the good work!
Signed,
A grizzled old IT guy

Hey Ryan and crew,
Just
Hey Ryan and crew,
Just listened to the podcast. I experienced the stepped tear on the left and right screen in Eyefinity with a single 7970Ghz Edition and 3x 1080p monitors in landscape mode. I did some reading around and some suggested trying different cables. Needless to say, it didn’t help, it only moved the step to a different position on the screen. It was really annoying, especially because you could see it on the fraking desktop, not just in game. If you get a sec, try it out. I’m curious if you get the same results.
Oh, and I was using a Gigabyte 7970 Ghz Windforce edition. The monitors are 3x Asus PE278Q’s connected via DVI-D and 2x display port cables.
In the end, I wound up spending twice as much as I intended and sprung for a GTX 780.
Do you have images or
Do you have images or screenshots of what you were seeing with a single card? That is a very interesting thing…
