According to The Verge, Microsoft fans will be getting a nice surprise tomorrow when the company releases the Release Preview of its upcoming Windows 8 operating system. What was first set to debut in early June, sources are indicating that Microsoft will officially release it tomorrow–a week early.
The Release Preview is Microsoft’s third official build for public consumption, following the Developer and Consumer previews respectively. This build is said to include hints at what the aero-less desktop will look like (though users won’t see the full UI changes until the final retail build) as well as built-in Adobe Flash in the Metro UI version of Internet Explorer. Although I can’t say I’m thrilled about the many changes in Windows 8, I’ll still be downloading the new Release Preview to give Microsoft another chance to make me like Windows 8 (hopefully they can). If you do download it, don’t forget about our Windows 8 Virtual Machine installation guide.
Will you be checking out the Release Preview?

Yes I will. I can’t use
Yes I will. I can’t use Windows 7 anymore. There are so many good under-the-hood changes to Windows that 7 just feels…old. They have also killed off come legacy stuff as well as making the registry a lot cleaner. That being said, I only use the desktop. Even though Metro is there, I don’t use it. Very inconsistent experience between Metro and the Desktop right now. Hopefully this build will fix a couple of things.

Hurry up and launch, so we can be that much closer to Windows 9, which will hopefully pull the OS’s head back out of its ass.
I’ve made it a practice to no
I’ve made it a practice to no longer install flash on my systems. Although google chrome has it. I don’t see the point of Microsoft including it, rather then them making it optional, but so be it.
Microsoft likes to please
Microsoft likes to please everybody even if it might hold them back for years to come. Some things should just not be supported and moved on to better things and time not wasted on them.
Their are good thing and bad things about all the windows i have used. i just hope their is more good things then bad that will make me want it, otherwise I am okay with what i have.
I am use to what i have even if it is not perfect.
Metro is the mutated ribbon
Metro is the mutated ribbon interface run amok through main street, larger and angrier, it terrorizes and confuses the hapless citizens as it tries to crush the desktop app into oblivion!

I don’t’ think Microsoft is please anybody with windows 8 that much, most windows user I show it to hate it so far.
I like it to a point something could be better but hay its still better the Apple iOS and there 10 OS with how many SP now that they call a new every time the bring one out and you have to pay to get it (what a joke Apple is)
I’m happy that flash is back in but it need to be more the just the site that Microsoft said’s are OK
There are only a few updates
There are only a few updates to Windows 8 I see that are even slightly good. All the other updates to Windows 8 are crap/garbage. I don’t want my whole screen taken up just to open a program. Metro is the worst thing Microsoft has ever done to Windows.
Metro is built for a touch interface. How many “Desktop” PC users have or will have a touch interface? Maybe 1%. A person can’t disable that crap interface.
Everyone I have shown the Windows 8 Metro interface hates it. If I could disable it I would not have a huge problem with it. Give us back our “Desktop” PC Microsoft.
