Calabasas, CA - October 17, 2007 - Fatal1ty Brands and Universal ABIT announce abit's participation in the Entertainment for All Expo (E for All) scheduled for October 18-21, 2007, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The full range of Fatal1ty motherboards will be on display at the large Fatal1ty exhibition area, which will host Fatal1ty shootouts, product demonstration, Fatal1ty Jeopardy contests and prize give-a-ways. The E for All show fills a void left by the down sizing of E3, which was open only to the trade.

Intel's Skulltrail looks like the kind of system that anyone would want to own, badly.  It's too bad that when The Tech Report questioned Intel about the pricing, they replied that it will be priced above 'traditional workstation-class', which you can probably read as super crazy high price plus time and materials and a bit on the side.   They aren't even sure what RAM is in this machine, but supposedly it is CL3 and over 800MHz, nor were they able to benchmark it themselves, so we have to accept Intel's screenshots, for no

Check in on The Tech Report's review of a "Stoakley" dual processor system.  There are some impressive updates, a FSB that can run at 1.6GHz and support up to 128GB of 800MHz FB-DIMMs.  When you see what these Xeon E5472 3.0GHz can do against the newer Opterons, you get the feeling that AMD really has to step up their Performance/Power ratio.
