Computex is over, the booths are down and the wrap up articles have been published. The Tech Report was there throughout the whole event and has a lot more pictures to show you. There were motherboards for quad Opteron setups, as well as HTPCs and X38 based value boards.

Asus took their traditional stance at Computex and showcased many unique and interesting technology items. This year several motherboards make our list of "most wanted" as does a new DIY notebook and even a new discrete sound card option!

VIA has single handedly raised the bar on the ultra-mobile PC front over the past several years with their mini-ITX form factor and others. Current models like the oqo and new NanoBook could offer UMPC features to a much wider audience.

In their travels at Computex, The Tech Report stopped by VIA's display, where they were showing off their Nanobook, as well as a new ITX board that is the size of a business card. Not to be out done Intel is also showing off Menlow mobile internet devices, with some rather impressive graphics. Corsair showed off their 2Ghz DDR3, and Gigabyte shows off some X38 and P35 E

[H]ard|OCP offers a pictorial tour of Computex, that spans their entire first day. You can see the booths, the booth babes and even an occasional shot of some new technology. Head over and enjoy all the sights of Computex, the only thing you will have to read are the signs and displays.

We take a look around the various show halls at the traditional power supply and cooling companies to see what's new and what's coming down the road. There are always interesting surprises here!

There is also the VIA Technology Forum, and VIA Arena is there. The focus is on low power consumption, less size and weight and a lower cost, something they call PC 2.0. There are slides from the keynote speeches, the new Mobile-ITX form factor and looks at the future of mobile, and ultra mobile, computing.
