Our own intrepid Ryan is braving the wilds of Las Vegas to get the latest and greatest news from CES. He had the chance to stop by and chat with the nice Thermaltake folks, and he was able to send a few snapshots of what he has found.

Day 2 of CES 2008 has started off, and some sites are catching up on yesterdays news, while others are already trying to get the new finds from today up and published. Legit Reviews started off their Tuesday at Foxconn's table looking at an extended ATX motherboard with the codename F1 or Transformer. The most arresting feature of this board is the four ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT all hooked up in Crossfire, and thanks to the larger form factor, the cards are spaced apart nicely. Take a look!

Over at the ASUS table you can see a scratch 20" proof monitor, apparently Ryan talked them into hitting it with a storage box several times, and it suffered no ill effect. There is also an pre-built HTPC with a built in amplifier as well as a shot of the digital Xonar D2X.

Intel's Skulltrail looks like the kind of system that anyone would want to own, badly. It's too bad that when The Tech Report questioned Intel about the pricing, they replied that it will be priced above 'traditional workstation-class', which you can probably read as super crazy high price plus time and materials and a bit on the side.
