Apparently, a new site by the name of Level 505 was able to get a hold of the specs and some early benchmarks for the new R6000 GPU coming from ATI early next year. Dailytech has coverage of the news as well:
This time around it appears AMD is going for a different approach by equipping the ATI R600 with less unified shaders than NVIDIA's recently launched GeForce 8800 GTX.

Well, that didn't take too long. After the news post I made earlier in the day (right below!) OCZ Technology has gone ahead and launched their product.

Say what? Yep, OCZ is entering the graphics card market!
OCZ said that it will launch its graphics card later today. Newegg is suppose to have some limited quntity of the cards as early as today and as soon as the West Coast wakes up.
The card comes at default Nvidia clocks, but OCZ endorses you to overclock the heck out of it. OCZ will handtest each card and will sell you the best overclocked ones. It comes clocked at 575MHz core and 1800MHz memory.

According to the Inquirer, NVIDIA is preparing a new entry-level graphics card to replace the 7300 based on the G80 architecture.
This is set to replace Geforce 7300 from the market. Nvidia is really having problems making a real impact on the entry-level market but maybe will have better luck with this introduction.
The chip is a cut down version of the G80 and will probably come up with some odd memory controller number.
The BFG 8800 GTS Card
BFG's 8800 GTS model doesn't stray from the reference design much, but that isn't a bad thing as we see in our performance tests of a single card and SLI configuration.

In Taiwan, Sapphire was showing a dual-GPU graphics card using X1950 Pro GPUs.
If waiting for R600 has you down, Sapphire has an upcoming alternative. Early this morning the company internally demonstrated its dual-GPU Radeon X1950 Pro board, dubbed The Godfather. The dual-slot GPU uses two 6-pin power connectors but still fits within the standard 9" riser-board dimensions.
