DigiTimes has posted an updated AMD processor roadmap. AMD is extending the 65nm Brisbanes, which has new processors at 100MHz seperation, instead of the original 200 MHz. All will have 2*512Kb L2 caches.

A very specific vulnerability in OpenSSL has been discovered, and patched recently. It is only one particular signature, so it is likely to have affected very little, but that's no excuse not to patch. Slashdot has links to the article.

The Tech Zone puts forward some thoughts on the death of DVD movies, in all three flavours. They cover several points, including the fact that it can be easier and quicker to download from iTunes than to wait for a rental store to have the movie in stock or wait for a mail delivery.
