How about a $50 case which includes a side fan, a blow hole and a back exhaust that can accomodate an 80, 92 or 120mm fan? The Rosewill that 3DXtreme reviews has all of that, and some style in it's design too.  Plus, a mouse which will help rid you of any sweat on your plams from fragging all night.

"I'm sure if you asked anyone these days what brand of computer case they wanted, they would probably tell you Lian Li, Thermaltake, Silverstone, CoolerMaster or maybe even Antec.

C-Systems is replacing their aging CSP-750 pump with a newer more powerful pump, the CSP-MAG, and SystemCooling has the review.  While not the most powerful pump available, it does have several things to recommend it, including it's small size, and it's small price tag $49.99US on the manufacturers website (, and it's even cheaper if trade in an old 750.

"The C-Systems CSP-MAG is a next generation brushless DC pump that replaces the original CSP-750.

AMD to officially sanction overclocking

The FX57 is geared towards gaming and the X2 will cater for those engaged in Content Creation. AMD will put even more emphasis in the future on this segmentation so that there is no overlapping of the two products in people's minds. The FXers will always be the best for gaming: designing games, distributing them and playing them.

Cooling the GeForce 7800

AMDGamer has some pictures of Innovatek's brand new Cool-Matic G70, and a link to Innovatek for more info.   The G70 is a water based cooler (block) for both the GPU and the memory on the just released 7800.  Before you ask, there are pictures of what look to be a 2 card SLI setup, so the G70 takes full advantage of the card's smaller footprint to make sure both cards can be cooled with 2 seperate G70's.

Coolermaster has re-imagined the classic Hyper 6 into a Hyper 6+, and it is put through some testing at Insanetek.  Not only does it provide some respectable cooling power, but it is small enough to fit into most cases, unlike many of the other high performance heatsinks that have come onto the market recently.  If it's your videocard that's overheating, you can find help here too!

"The Hyper 6 is probably considered Cooler Master's first high performance cooler.

Maybe you have heard of Sytrin, and their Nextherm ICS 8200 airconditioned case, but if you haven't InsaneTek has a review you should read.  The Nextherm has a thermoelectric cooler sitting on its intake, and has a significant impact on the temperatures in the case, including the video card.  Of course, the case will also have a significant impact on your wallet, but think what you can save by overclocking.

Extreme Cooling Technologies new Mach II GT might sound like a razor, but it is the coolest thing in phase change technology.  It will let COC run an A64 3500 at a stable 2991Mhz, and do it with an average core temp of -18C!  It's not cheap though, the MSRP is $949.  If that's a little too rich, a review of Titan's economically priced Bianca is just b

Battlefield 2 is just around the corner, and so are summer temperatures.  If you don't want to turn your expensive new PCI-X card into melted slag at the bottom of your case, and are unwilling to back off even a little on the overclock that was stable in the middle of February, then has SystemCooling got a review for you!  The ThermalRight V1.  With 2 fans on this heatsink, you will get temps that are comparable to a watercooled card.  Only two caveats, one being that 6800 users may find the HS doe

There is a choice of styles today when you are picking cases.  Perhaps you prefer the molded plastic and lighting effects of the newer stylized cases, and would like NZXT's Nemesis Elite Edition as reviewed at Xtreme Resources.  If you prefer a more studious approach, check out the X1 from Raidmax.  If nothing is catching your eye, well then mod it  into a Cenobite.
