CES 2010: PC Perspective Invades Vegas
Viva Las Vegas
January 7 to 10th and PC Perspective will be giving you coverage like
never before! This year we’ll have 5 pairs of boots on the ground
covering all the fresh launches, hot products, and interesting stories
others may have missed.

Onsite and Unscripted
We will be there as the story unfold on some of the hottest events - think of it like one of our unscripted podcasts, but lasts 4 days long and our guests will be the movers and shakers in the industry.
So HD, it Hurts
There’s nothing worse than seeing blurry
shaky-cam footage or stills of the latest gear – PC Perspective is
taking along equipment to cover CES right. Half the fun is the
eye-candy and nerd porn in all its geeky beauty – why accept anything
less?
We’ll be posting high resolution images and HD videos of the stuff you want to see.
How to Keep Updated on CES 2010
To keep yourself updated on the stories on CES 2010, keep your finger on http://pcper.com/ces. All our CES coverage will be posted here as well on the front page.
Birds of a Feather
Our friends from TWiT.TV will be at CES 2010, and we will be joining them on their shows to bring you extended coverage and a special edition of Ryan's weekly show TWiCH (This Week in Computer Hardware).
The challenge was issued during Windows Weekly #137- will our very own Ryan Shrout take on Paul Thurrot in a debate to the
death about the state of PC gaming? What better place than Vegas!
Representing PC Perspective
Ryan Shrout – Owner and Editor-in-Chief of PC Perspective
Ryan is a veteran of CES having gone to every show since 2001. You can guarantee that he'll be taking company reps to task by asking them tough questions to get to the heart of the story.
Allyn Malventano – Storage guru and SSD drive fetishist
Allyn will be covering all things related to storage which will
undoubtedly be a hot area this year.
He is looking forward to seeing more
storage mediums (SSD/ Flash drives) moving to SATA 6G (SATAIII) and USB
3.0, and SSD drives.
Allyn will be talking to Intel, OCZ, JMicron,
Drobo, and others for the latest scoop on the changing landscape in
data storage.
Steve Grever – Motherboard Editor
"What I'm looking for at this
year's CES: This year's Consumer Electronic Show should be very
exciting and I'm pretty pumped to check out the newest motherboards,
graphics cards, and high definition LCDs from a variety of vendors
including ASUS, Gigabyte, and eVGA to name a few.
I
also can't wait to see what NVIDIA brings to the table in the graphics
arena as well as some of the new SATA 6GB/s and USB 3.0 devices. I also
saw a couple releases on wireless HDMI, which also should be pretty
intriguing to learn about. Overall, it should be an awesome show!"
