MSI P67A-GD80 LGA 1155 ATX Motherboard Review

Author: Steve Grever
Subject: Motherboards
Manufacturer: MSI

BIOS Features

MSI included a user-friendly Unified Extensible Firmware Interface, or UEFI, BIOS interface (dubbed "Click BIOS") for novice and advanced PC users to access and configure key options that come with the P67A-GD80. The UEFI BIOS also has other utilities to test system memory, update motherboard drivers, and even play games and surf the web. One of the best features of a UEFI BIOS is the ability to use a standard mouse to click through the BIOS instead of solely using the keyboard alone.

Great review.. I've been debating on the different boards and I think for my first high-end build I'm going with the GD80.

I'm surprised you guys are just now getting around to reviewing this board especially when the Z68 version costs just a little bit more.

The unique thing about this board is it has 10 USB 3.0 ports, which I don't think any other motherboard has quite so many.
