Epox 8KTA3 KT133A Motherboard Review

This content was originally featured on Amdmb.com and has been converted to PC Perspective’s website. Some color changes and flaws may appear.

Throughout the recent history of the Athlon processor Epox has been a good gauge for a good, all round motherboard for the platform. While the performance of the motherboards never topped those of the big boys such as Asus and Abit, Epox had stable, reliable motherboards that non-hardcore overclockers could depend on. The 8KTA+ motherboard was the company’s first attempt at a motherboard geared towards the other side of the fence, if you will. It made vast improvements, but was still slightly behind in terms of performance and features. Not to give away the ending, but that has all changed with their latest release, the Epox 8KTA3 KT133A motherboard.
