Introduction and Specifications

ECS throws P55H-A into fray of P55 motherboard offerings

Intel's LGA 1156 and P55 chipset was released a few months ago and since that time we have reviewed several offerings from high-end vendors like ASUS and Gigabyte. Today, we have a more budget-minded board from ECS called the P55H-A that has many features users will find on higher-end P55 boards, but for a fraction of the cost.

The P55H-A Black Series motherboard features support for DDR3 2130 (overclocked), quality CPU power design with ferrite core chokes and solid capacitors, and support for dual CrossfireX graphics cards.
ECS is marketing this board toward gamers so we will definitely pay close attention to how it performs in our synthetic and real-world gaming benchmarks.
